Scrum Master (SM)
Overview
The Scrum Master facilitates agile ceremonies, removes blockers, and ensures the team follows agile practices. In AI/Quality Sentinel, the SM ensures smooth collaboration between Product Owner, developers, QA, and other team members while maintaining team velocity and focus on project goals.
How to Help the Project
1. Facilitate Agile Ceremonies
- Organize and run sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure ceremonies stay focused and time-boxed
- Use these meetings to identify and track blockers and improvements
2. Remove Impediments
- Identify obstacles preventing the team from making progress
- Work to resolve blockers related to infrastructure, dependencies, or coordination
- Escalate issues that need management attention
3. Foster Team Collaboration
- Break down silos between backend, frontend, QA, and other roles
- Ensure knowledge sharing and pair programming opportunities
- Help the team self-organize and make decisions
4. Track Metrics and Improve
- Monitor velocity, burndown, and cycle time
- Analyze sprint retrospectives for continuous improvement
- Implement process improvements based on team feedback
5. Ensure Quality Culture
- Protect the team from mid-sprint changes and distractions
- Coach the team on agile practices and ceremonies
- Help the team understand how quality work reduces future rework

Required Skills
Technical:
- Deep knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Experience Level
Minimum: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with at least 1-2 years of experience
Ideal: 3-5 years as Scrum Master, preferably in software development or tech companies
